How to Exercise with Tennis Elbow

Some exercises that are suitable to complete after the diagnosis of tennis elbow are the following: flexing the wrists and forearms, stretching, and eventual implementation of the regular tennis routine.
The first exercise that should be attempted after tennis elbow is stretching. After the elbow has been exposed to stress for an extended period of time the muscles become tense and after a period of rest they can become weakened - therefore it becomes important to stretch thoroughly before attempting any exercise. Begin in the forearm and flex the forearm, than rotating the arm (only to the range of motion that is comfortable). This can be completed multiple times per day but it is important to remember that the injury should be rested before attempting any exertion.
The next step to exercising with tennis elbow is strengthening. After the extended rest period in which the arm was given the chance to heal, it is probable that strength within the arm could have been lost. Begin with wrist strengthening and forearm strengthening with a dumbbell.
