One good park to play tennis at in St. Louis is Musick Park. It is located on North Hanley Road near Pershall Road. Musick Park is about a mile away from Highway I-170. Once you exit the highway and reach the intersection of North Hanley Road and Airport Road a few feet away, make a left turn onto North Hanley Road and drive until you reach Musick Park.
Musick Park is a small park and it has about four tennis courts that contain a grass surface. Public restrooms are available and the tennis courts provide night lights. Benches are provided here.
Do you like to play tennis where plenty of courts are provided? If so, go to the tennis courts at the St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley in Florissant. About six tennis courts that have an asphalt surface are provided there. Night lights and seating areas are provided.
The tennis courts at Florissant Valley Community College are located between one of the campus buildings and Hudson Road off Elizabeth Avenue. The main entrance to the college is located near Highway I-270. Once you exit the highway and reach the intersection of West Florissant Avenue and Pershall Road a few feet away, make a right turn onto Pershall Road and drive down the path leading to the college a short distance away.
You can also try the tennis courts at Forestwood Park. Forestwood Park is a small park and it has eight tennis courts that are made of asphalt. Benches, tables and public restrooms are provided nearby. The restrooms are usually open. A water fountain, a baseball field for amateur baseball teams and a concession stand are provided nearby. The lights for the courts come on before it gets dark. The courts are supposed to be resurfaced in 2020.
To get to Forestwood Park on Ferguson Avenue, exit Highway I-270 at Elizabeth Avenue. Once you reach the path leading to McClure Senior High School, keep driving down Elizabeth Avenue until you reach Ferguson Avenue. Make a left onto Ferguson Avenue and keep going until you reach Forestwood Park a short distance away.
