Does Car Sickness Ruin Your Travel Plans?
Spring break is just mere weeks away and that means a car trip for many families. If you have a kid like I do, who turns green just hearing the phrase "car trip" then Travel-Eze wristbands are for you!
My youngest son is like myself, extremely sensitive to motion sickness, but after buying him his own pair and trying them out in the hills and curvy roads in Missouri and Arkansas, I am pleased to say that they work great! And they last for quite awhile too. In fact I have had a pair of Travel-Eze wristbands for over 14 years, having bought my pair during my first pregnancy to help with nausea (and yes they did work then as well as later too!) and they are in great shape. I suspect that the reason will be replacing them will not be because they have ceased to work, but because the elastic thread within the bands are beginning to wear thin and they don't fit as tightly as when new.
These bands are said to maintain their elasticity for approximately 12 washings, but if you are like me and hand wash instead of machine wash, they will last much longer than that. I would highly recommend these for anyone who has a tendency towards motion sickness and the unpleasantness that follows. Travel-Eze wristbands are available at most drug stores and online as well so finding them is really a cinch if you know where to find them. I purchased my son's bands at Walgreens for $9.95 (the same price as online) but was told by the pharmacist that they have a hard time keeping them in stock because of their effectiveness.
