Discovery Channel's 'Deadliest Catch' Star Justin Tennison Found Dead in Alaska Hotel; Cause Unknown
No one expected that Justin Tennison would be found dead. What do we know?
One of the stars of this show, Justin Tennison, was just found dead to the disbelief, dismay and sadness of the show's followers. Tennison was just 33 years old.
Jessica Sinclair has posted an article on the Long Island Press' website titled "Deadliest Catch Star Found Dead."
The cause of death is unknown. However, police did say they found alcohol and a small amount of marijuana at the site. Tennison was found in a hotel room in Alaska and his body was found by the hotel's cleaning people.
As Sinclair reports, this is not the first tragedy to strike the members of the ship featured on the series, the Time Bandit.
Another member of the show, Captain Phil, also died.
While it is easy to surmise that recreational drugs played a role in the star's death, that would not necessarily be the case. Living that life could force many problems on the human body.
Tennison was a member of the crew fishing the Red King 2020 and Opilio 2020 seasons. Further, he was father to both a son and daughter.
In the event that you don't follow the series, I have linked to the website here. It is basically a show that follows these men as they hunt down crab; it is pretty scary because the waters that they work in can be violent.
I remember my son taking a cruise for the first time on a cruise ship line. He wanted to see what it was like. He remained ill about the whole trip from being seasick.
Certain people are born with the ability to fly, while others develop white knuckles; that would include me.
Some people, like Justin Tennison, can travel the toughest waters and other people, like my son, can't take a luxury cruise.
Tennison will be missed and the reason for his death will be of interest to his fans.
