This is the first Wimbledon that I really watched as a child, mostly because I was swept up in Agassi-mania. The match hardly disappointed. After losing the first set via tiebreaker, Agassi rallied and won the next two sets 6-4. Ivanisevic dominated the next set before losing to Agassi in the fifth and final set 6-4. 1992 is the only year Agassi won Wimbledon during his spectacular career.

Ivanisevic was 0-3 in Wimbledon Finals heading into the 2001 Championships. Tiebreakers in sets three and four were taken by Federer, who survived two Nadal championship points in the fourth set. Nadal went on to win the fifth set 9-7, leading to the greatest celebration in Wimbledon history. The four hour 48 minute final is the longest in Wimbledon history.
